Nadia Petrova
Physics · University of Cambridge
Nadia Petrova is a PhD candidate in Physics at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof. Mete Atature. Her thesis investigates spin coherence times and optical charge-noise mitigation in self-assembled InAs quantum dots, developing protocols compatible with photonic integrated circuit architectures for scalable quantum computing. Eleven publications in Physical Review Letters and Nature Physics document her experiments on single-photon emission and spin echo. Nadia is a recipient of the Winton Scholarship and has collaborated with IBM Research Zurich and Google Quantum AI. She has been offered a postdoctoral research scientist position at a quantum hardware startup focused on photonic quantum networking. Her spin coherence work is considered a benchmark result in solid-state quantum optics.
